What is a kitesurf downwinder?
A downwinder is a ride along the coast in the direction of the wind: you start at one point and finish further downwind, instead of coming back to where you started. It is for confident, independent riders.
Downwinders start from €70, with a minimum of 3 people; transport and gear are included. The route and the timing depend on the wind and the tide on the day, and we confirm the details with you on WhatsApp.

Safety first
- Never kite in offshore wind alone.
- Check the forecast, the tide and the gusts before riding.
- Keep at least 50 m of clear space downwind from people and obstacles.
- Use your quick release and leash, and respect swimming zones in summer.
- Moulay Bouzerktoun, about 25 km north, is a wave spot for experienced riders only.
