Kitesurf lessons and prices
A 2-hour kitesurf lesson in Essaouira costs €55 per person in a group, €80 semi-private or €100 private. Every lesson includes the kite, board, harness, wetsuit and helmet, with an IKO-certified school.

What is included in a kitesurf lesson?
Every kitesurf lesson includes the equipment. Bring swimwear, a towel and sun protection.

04IKO
How do IKO levels work?
The IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) splits learning into levels. Here is the usual progression. How many hours you need depends on you and on the wind, so we don't promise a fixed number.
Level 1
Discovery
Safety, the wind window, setting up, and flying a kite on the beach and in the water.
Level 2
Intermediate
Body dragging, getting your board back in the water and your first water starts.
Level 3
Independent
Riding in both directions, controlling speed, going upwind and self-rescue.
Level 4 and up
Advanced
Jumps, transitions and riding in more varied conditions.
